Becoming an Eden Associate
Eden in Oz & NZ Ltd (EiON) is the pioneer of Culture Change in Residential Aged Care and Community Care in Australia and New Zealand. We are the only Australian organisation licensed to conduct a range of Eden Alternative person directed courses in both countries.
To become an Eden Associate, interested individuals and groups must complete the foundation three day course "Implementing the Eden Alternative® in Aged Care. Completing this course is an essential part of transforming individual and organisational attitudes in providing person directed care to residents, clients and members.
All participants who successfully complete the competency requirements of this course attain the status of Certified Eden Associate.
Eden Associates focus upon the implementation of the Eden Alternative® through the practical application of the 10 Eden Principles in their home / service or organisation.
It is recommended that those in management positions be the first to attend the open training courses Implementing the Eden Alternative in Aged Care.
